Dr. Shellese A. King graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 1997 with Bachelors degrees in Sociology and Biological Sciences. She attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and earned her DDS degree in 2002. She also completed a General Practice Residency at the West Los Angeles VA Hospital in Los Angeles in 2003.

Dr. King worked in a private family dental practice in Los Angeles until moving to Arizona and starting a career in children’s dentistry in 2005. She recently joined the Arizona Pediatric Dentistry team after working in other children’s dental offices across the valley for many years.

Dr. King is also a Sedation Permit Evaluator for the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners, a Dental Assistant Instructor at Pima Medical Institute, and a volunteer at the Maricopa County Office of the Medical Examiner.

She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors with her dogs, and meeting with friends for good food and laughs.
