Shashi Kapur, D.D.S., M.Sc.D.,
B.D.S.
Dr. Kapur received his B.D.S. from Punjab
University in Amritsar, India in 1969.
After working in Zambia, Africa with the Flying
Doctors of the United Nations, Dr. Kapur
emigrated to the United States in 1973. He
completed his pediatric residency at Boston
University in 1975. He turned to teaching
and taught at the dental programs at the
University of Southern California and Baylor in
Texas. After helping in the training of dozens
of residents throughout the years, Dr. Kapur was
interested in applying his knowledge to direct
patient care. He attained a second dental
degree from the University of Southern
California in 1987. Armed with his
advanced dental training and diverse
experiences, Dr. Kapur opened up his first
office in Chandler in 1989. He moved his
office to a brand new complex across from
Chandler Regional Hospital in 2002 and opened
his second office in West Phoenix in 2006.
Dr. Kapur’s interests include reading, travel,
cooking, and spending time with his family.
He is also an avid fan of all things canine
related!

Robert W.
Fattouch, D.M.D.
Dr. Fattouch is the most tenured associate having joined the practice
of AZPD in
2004. He was born in Lebanon but grew up
in sunny Southern California. He did his
undergraduate degree in Biology at UC Riverside,
then traveled across the country to Philadelphia
where he attended Temple University for Dental
School. After completing a one year
residency in General Practice from Thomas
Jefferson University, Dr. Fattouch was accepted
to the Pediatric program at Brookdale Medical
Center in Brooklyn, New York. Upon his
graduation in 2004, he moved here to Arizona and
joined Dr. Kapur at AZPD. His interests include
soccer, working out, dancing, and traveling.

Daniella Vasquez, D.D.S.
Dr. Vasquez received her dental degree from
the Central University of Venezuela. She
completed her pediatric residency at the
University of Connecticut Health Center in 2002.
She has been part of our team since 2007.
Dr. Vasquez is originally from Caracas,
Venezuela but has made Arizona her home.
Her hobbies include hiking, indoor cycling, and
traveling. |

David P. Ember, D.D.S.
Dr. David Ember is a
graduate of the Ohio State University College of
Dentistry and a former resident at Nationwide
Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He
has practiced in multiple locations including
almost twelve years working for Aramco in Saudi
Arabia. He currently fulfills his global
wanderlust through his charitable endeavors
overseas as a clinician and a director on the
board of Children’s Dental Care International.
This organization has set up dental clinics in
Sri Lanka, Ecuador, and Brazil.

Debbie Graham, D.D.S.
Dr. Graham obtained her DDS from UCLA in
1996. After completing her pediatric
residency at Baylor University in Dallas, she
married her husband John, another dentist.
He has a successful orthodontic office just a
few miles away from our Phoenix location.
In her free time Dr. Graham enjoys baking,
running, and raising her four children.

Quentin L. Shaw,
D.D.S.
Dr. Quentin Shaw attended the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of
Dentistry where he received his D.D.S. He
then specialized in pediatric dentistry through
his residency at the University of Minnesota at
Minneapolis. His practice is limited to
the dental care of children. He is on
staff at Chandler Regional Hospital and St.
Joseph’s in Phoenix. In his spare time,
Dr. Shaw lends his first tenor voice to choirs
and practices as a classical pianist. His
culinary skills bring delightful and tasteful
experiences to family and friends. He
enjoys international travel as well, having many
friends abroad.

Erin Hughes-Carey, D.D.S.
Dr. Hughes-Carey, a native of Altadena, CA, received
her dental degree at Meharry Medical College in
Nashville, TN in 2005. She completed an Advanced
Education in General Dentistry at the University of New
Mexico in 2006. After completing her AEGD, Dr.
Hughes-Carey worked two years in San Luis, AZ as a
general dentist for the National Health Service Corp.
She then continued her training and completed her
Pediatric Residency from UNLV in 2010. Dr.
Hughes-Carey is an active member of the American Academy
of Pediatric Dentistry and the National Dental
Association. She enjoys spending time with family
and friends. Her interests include sports,
dancing, Special Olympics, and church activities.
